Sandy River Ramblers
The Sandy River Ramblers are Maine’s longest-running bluegrass band, playing original songs about the state since 1982. Led by nationally-known songwriter and Maine Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Stan Keach, the band features top-notch musicianship from Bud Godsoe (banjo, dobro), Bobby St. Pierre (mandolin), Don LeBlanc (fiddle), Liz Keach (guitar, harmony vocals), and Julie Davenport (upright bass, lead vocals). Known for their high-energy sound and signature three-part harmonies, the Ramblers have released two albums of all-Maine songs and continue to deliver lively, heartfelt bluegrass across the state.

Gawler Family Band
John and Ellen Gawler with their daughters Molly, Edith, and Elsie, and joined by Ethan Tischler and Bennett Konesni bring you an assortment of old and new sounds from many folk traditions. They accompany interweaving family harmonies with fiddles, banjo, cello and guitar, as well as a few surprises.
Whether they are crooning a poignant ballad or delivering a rollicking fiddle tune, their unique arrangements are especially engaging and often go along with anecdotes of historical or humorous content.
Although the Gawlers may be best known for their extensive collection of dance tunes in the Scots-Irish and French Canadian traditions, their repertoire may include a gutsy ‘Sweet Honey in the Rock’ style a'capella worksong or an amusing ode to everyday life.
With their infectious spirit and sparkling musicianship, and with several albums to their credit, the Gawlers have earned a beloved place in the delighted hearts of varied audiences across the Northeast.

Viva The Sensation
VIVA (she/her) is a composer, producer, and solo performer. She is the great-granddaughter of A.A. Thorne, a human rights advocate and the first person of African descent in the world to earn both bachelor's and advanced graduate degrees conferred by a British University. This legacy informs VIVA’s values of civic participation.
VIVA has appeared in award-winning short films, commercials, feature films, is a singer and multi-instrumentalist; and is an Indigo Arts Alliance AIR, a Maine Arts Commission Project Grant Grantee; a Grantee of the National Endowment for the Arts American Rescue Plan; an alum of Re/Union: Re-Editioning: Black + Native Histories, a convening at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts; a Music to Life (funded by the Mellon Foundation) juried artist; and a SPACE538 AIR.
You've seen her at Damnationland, on Portland's Creative Bus Shelters, in music videos and on major stages across the region.
VIVA the Sensation's debut single, Goddess, which she wrote in response to the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down Roe V Wade, is now available on all streaming platforms along with her sophomore track, Want Me.

Midnight Breakfast
Midnight Breakfast is an indie-soul sextet based in Portland, Maine. Initially covering pop standards and funk tunes, they recorded their self-titled debut album during quarantine and released it in January 2021. In 2023, the band returned with their EP Bleeding Red, an exploration of grappling with life’s complexities and the quest for clarity amidst uncertainty. With their unique blend of groovy melodies, kaleidoscopic improvisation, and blissfully jazz-kissed vocals, Midnight Breakfast delves into themes of love, self-discovery, and the universal search for meaning.

Auntie Bear and the Goons
Auntie Bear & The Goons is an original three-piece band pulling influence from genres ranging from funk and fusion to surf and psychedelic rock. Established in 2022, members Colin Adams on guitar, Marc Bubar on bass, and Adam Tangarone on drums join forces to make noise from around the Midcoast. With a mix of instrumentally and vocally-centered original songs, grooves spanning multiple genres are paired with solos and three-part vocal harmonies that make you want to get up and dance! Continuing to play throughout Maine and New England, The Bear Boys have been lucky enough to make noise at venues like Oxbow Brewery, The Underground Lounge, Lake St George Brewing, Waterhole ADK and many more. Make sure to keep an eye out for a live album dropping this fall!

Preston & Curry
Preston & Curry is an acoustic duo made up of Mike Preston and Kim Curry, both inductees to the Maine Country Music Hall of Fame. Collectively performing over 250 dates annually, they cover over 8 decades of country, contemporary and rarities.

Kioea
Kioea (kēōˈāə) is a music group featuring Carand Burnet (she/her) as lead guitarist, supported by Neil Collins on bass and Matt Wilson on drums. Their music blends sounds of surf rock, psychedelia, and global influences. J. Swartwood (Aquarium Drunkard) described Burnet’s music as “simultaneously modern and vintage.”
Bandcamp recognized Kioea for their EP and album, Stand Tall, which they selected as New & Notable releases. Bandcamp’s Editorial Director writes, “The debut LP from Kioea is dreamy psychedelic surf music that calls back to the ’60s while feeling remarkably contemporary.” Doyle Dean, host of The Dean’s List on NCPR, notes that “Burnet’s guitar playing owes a little bit to the sound of The Ventures, Dick Dale, and the 90’s Canadian daredevils of the form, Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet. But her singular voice owes just as much to that of Sonny Rollins – lost in the madness of a late 1950s session for Riverside. It’s that departure Kioea offers.”
In 2023, Burnet received a Maine ARP Grant through SPACE Gallery and the National Endowment for the Arts, which supported the making of Kioea’s album Stand Tall. Their newest EP, Electric Surf, was released in June 2025.

DJ Angel Investor
It’s funny how sometimes the purest things are the most difficult to explain. How do you explain to someone what you do and why you do it? DJ Angel Investor does what she does simply because she was meant to. There was no great revelation, no moment in which inspiration struck. It has just been intrinsic like blood and DNA to her very being since her eyes opened to the world. Behind the decks is her home, a place of bliss and sheer expression. It is the way she communes with the world and its denizens, with a savage wonder, thrashing and sweating to the rhythm because it's what the body wants to do, sharing the love of this playful game with others because it's what the heart wants to do.
DJ Angel Investor is a musical project of Zoey Patarroyo, a Colombian-American artist who breaks through the mirror, past the reflection and into something deeper. She knows that the boundaries between genres are merely lines drawn in the sand. She threads the needle between electropop, dancehall, reggaeton, cumbia, brega funk, trance, jersey club, punk, and countless more sounds in a harmony that is perfect in its imperfections. She could never get enough of finding new and exciting sounds to absorb into her repertoire, further bolstering her unique approach and appreciation for music in all its forms. She takes the chance to be true to herself while also intentionally spreading her roots ever further, on a truly neverending journey to connect with even more diverse ranges of music and sound.
Among the fragments and whims, when you trace the cracks back, at DJ Angel Investor’s core is a relentless sincerity and true belief in the preservation as well as the evolution of the beautiful and ancient ritual of music and dance.
